Former Virginian and nationally known western artist Duane Bryers has generously donated art prints of his works. These prints are being offered for sale with all profits going to the historical society. The prints are selling quickly. Titles of prints we still have are "The Blacksmith," "Cool Water," "Fringe Benefit," and "Next Summer's Ice."

October 1, 2010 - VAHS monthly membership meeting at 2:00 in the Columbia Apartment Building, 600 N 3rd Ave. in Virginia. After a brief business meeting, Pam Brunfelt will give a program about Karl Nygard of Crosby, the first Communist mayor in the US. Coffee and dessert will be served. Everyone is welcome.
